The Tax Staff is a member of the client service team whose principle function is to complete various tax returns and perform in-depth research.

• Analyze data and prepare work-papers and tax returns based on professional standards for a variety of entities and individuals
• Possess and maintain a through knowledge of tax laws and issues including IRS, Courts, and other regulatory bodies
• Increasingly apply expertise on engagements and surface various accounting and tax issues that you foresee
• Ensure accuracy of product, which includes performing quality assurance procedures and preparing product for delivery
• Develop an ability to effectively service both large and small clients

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of increasing responsibility in preparing tax returns in a CPA firm
• BS/BA degree in accounting (Master degree in tax preferred)
• Possess a strong desire to learn
• Demonstrated strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
• Experience in researching tax issues and exposure to a variety of entities and individual tax issues
