At BPM, we feel it is our obligation to contribute to the advancement of society, through our accounting services and service to the community. Social responsibility is a founding principle of ours, and we strive to adhere to that principle by giving back to a community that has allowed us to grow and prosper over the past 24 years. That is why we established the BPM Foundation in 1993, and have since donated over $500,000 to Bay Area charities, adopted 4 elementary schools and established scholarship funds at Golden Gate University and Leadership San Francisco. As we progress towards the future, we will continue to match our increased corporate growth with an increased involvement in the community.
BPM encourages all employees, from staff to partners, to become involved as community volunteers. To raise employee awareness of volunteer opportunities in the area, BPM dedicates one work day each year to local nonprofits. On BPM Day, we shut down all six of our offices and send our staff out to volunteer at multiple sites around the Bay Area.
BPM has also adopted three local elementary schools where our staff members read to students, partner with student pen pals, judge essay contests, and participate as assembly presenters.
Aside from company sponsored organizations, our staff regularly participates in numerous organizations throughout the bay area including: benefit sports exhibitions, local television pledge drives, gift drives for the underprivileged, and the Jr. Achievement Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser.
