Bankruptcy, Receivership & Liquidation
Over the past many years we have had the opportunity to assist
many different clients in varied capacities, including jumping into
difficult situations and providing integrated services to maximize a
company's liquidation value. Our tasks have included:
- Taking a leadership role with the liquidation team to maximize
remaining value to the owners and minimize the hassles of the
liquidation. This includes coordination between the:
- Collection of Accounts Receivable
- Overview of
Technology Needs
- Storage and Transition of
Records
- Working with outside consultants to collect
account receivables and to maintain clear communication channels between
clients and the firm.
- Negotiating lease terminations for both
real estate and personal property.
- Setting up
“tail” insurance and risk management devices.

Handling all records and developing a record retention and destruction
policy.
- Tax planning and compliance work over a long period of
time that provides the partners a periodic overview of their tax
situation.
- Functioning as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO),
COO, CFO, and/or Controller of public and private companies.
- Handing all company accounting functions from bookkeeping to
Controller responsibilities.
- Assisting with the retirement and
benefit plan terminations.
- Overseeing compliance with regards
to Human Resources regulations and reporting.
